French Class
News from the French class
The Kindergarten students are currently learning numbers 1 to 5, and 5 colours in the French class. They learned to answer "Comment t'appelles-tu?". They know how to say boy and girl in the French language. We are also learning to tell how we feel. We will have a few classes to learn Halloween characters.
In the French class, the grade one students are learning about vegetables. Your child has learned to identify 5 commonly used vegetables. The children will do a few Halloween activities before continuing with the learning of fruits.
This term, the grade 2 students are learning about meals and food in their French class. We have learned about food for dinner such as: hamburger, hot dog, salad, fries and ice cream. Your child played restaurant and uses polite words such as "s'il vous plait" and "merci". Your child has also learned to say the food and the drinks they have in their lunch box: sandwich, fruits, vegetables, juce, milk and candy. We will complete our food unit with a big lunch and food for breakfast.
