After School Program

Our program offers a variety of fun, interactive and engaging activities to keep your child occupied. We have kids from St. Joseph’s, Walnut Park and Muheim Elementary, giving your children the opportunity to meet other kids from different schools and expand their network of friends.
The purpose of our program is to provide a safe, fun and caring environment for children whose parent’s work.

Ages
The After School Program is for children 5 to 12 years of age.Hours
The After School Program will operate:
3:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 1:50pm to 6:00pm on Thursday.
The program runs from September to June. The After School Program will not operate during school holidays.
Fees
Fees will be calculated according to hours of attendance.
After school fees are:
Daily rate for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 3:04 – 4:30pm: $8.00
4:35 – 6:00pm: $12.00
Thursday: 1:50 – 3:20 - $8.00
3:20 – 4:50 - $12.00
4:50 – 6:00 - $16.00
Daily Routine
We offer a nutritious snack at the beginning of the program, then encourage the kids to be active by going outside to play. Each day we have a planned activity that will develop their knowledge of cooking, crafts, games and more.
Periodically, we will take field trips in the community. Because of child/ staff ratios, ALL children at the centre will be required to participate. Towards the end of the afternoon, opportunities to do quiet activity (including Homework) will be offered.
